This point type is designed to make a clean penetration in woven materials. This point type and blade size have one of the smallest footprints for any embroidery-specific needle type. Not well-suited to use on knits.

This size needle is ideal executing small lettering or fine detail in woven materials. Works well with fine, light thread types such as size 60. Not recommended for knit fabrics.

The slender blade and point of this needle helps reduce puckering on  tightly woven materials including organza, batiste and similar materials made from lightweight yarn.

This heavy blade size helps avoid needle deflection on webbing, embroidering over seams and similar tough stitching situations. Heavier thread types may also be used with the wider groove found on this blade size.

Use this needle when embroidering on a heavyweight woven materials like webbing, finished caps and embroidery over seams or other thick areas.
