Bold and dramatic Wilmington Batiks in blues and grays are featured in Blue Smoke - a stunning queen quilt designed for a 10-month Block-of-the-month program.
Within a generous 95" x 105 1/2" layout, the unique quilt center features four custom blocks, pieced setting triangles, and pieced borders inserted top and bottom to make a retangular quilt. The outer pieced border has 9 different nine-patch blocks set into diamond-in-the-square blocks. Overall, there is no difficult pieces, it just requires accurately piecing the inserted pieces borders (fitting on-point and straight piecing together). The result is a fabulous and richly-colors heirloom quilt.
This BOM will begin on Tuesday, March 12th, and will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This class is sure to fill up quick, so sign up early!
